Australian-Indian Sports Educational and Cultural Society (AISECS) has been working in collaboration with Cricket NSW to host an ‘Indian Cricket Gala Day’ on Monday, 16th January, from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Cricket Central in Sydney Olympic Park.

We invite you to spend the day with us and your fellow cricket lovers in an informative, fun, and an action-packed day.

The event will offer a multitude of activities catering to all ages, making it a great day out for all involved. As part of the day’s activities, there will be face painting, kids blast sessions, guided tours of the facility, and coaching sessions for all and the most exciting part will be the opportunity to interact with the Sydney Thunder Stars- Jason Sangha and Tanveer Sangha!

Furthermore, Cricket NSW has organized for the Commons Cafe to have an Indian snack menu for the day!

Most importantly, this event will provide an opportunity for people of all ages to learn about joining cricket teams, from understanding how to sign your child up to your local grassroot cricket clubs to skilled players seeking to join more competitive competitions.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to ask questions regarding pathway programs for junior cricketers and about the cricketing system within New South Wales, making this a day full of information and in a location that is convenient for you.

In the past, during the pandemic, we have organized a webinar series called ‘Sports in New Normal’ where we invited key people from various sports bodies such as AFL, NRL, and Cricket to discuss the participation process in grassroot programs, women’s participation, and how anyone can grab sporting opportunities during the lockdown and much more. This time AISECS is looking forward to celebrating GALA DAY which is going to be bigger, better, and more exciting.

Founder of AISECS Gurnam Singh is thankful to Cricket NSW for their support and for making this event happen that would prove beneficial in many ways for the community and they will get a chance to meet and greet their heroes, learn about cricketing pathways and how they get trained at the highest level, moreover, it would be a fun-filled day for the kids.
